Dr. Ellen Jacobson
Ellen Jacobson, DDS is a friendly and gentle dentist who has expanded her practice to include airway conscious dentistry for children and adults, treatment of ankyloglossia (tongue and lip-ties) from infancy to adulthood, as well as orthodontics. She has extensive training in pediatric growth and development and organizes the Minnesota AGD’s Orofacial Growth and Development Study Club. In her free time, she can be found traveling nationally and internationally to dental and wellness conferences and spends as much time in the great outdoors as she can. She is a frequent visitor to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Dr. Jacobson also enjoys gardening and doting on her pets. She is a University of Minnesota Alumna and a Twin Cities native.
Dr. Jacobson feels that one of dentistry’s greatest privileges is the relationships she builds with her patients. She looks forward to meeting you and your family!

Dr. Bennett Isabella
Bennett Isabella, DDS, attended Marquette University and was accepted after three years into the Marquette University School of Dentistry. After graduation, he moved back to Apple Valley, MN where he grew up, to start seeing patients in private practice where he grew up and can help inside the community, he has life ties with. He has always had an interest in dentistry and has pursued continuing education with the very top professionals in the field. Dr. Isabella has consistently done 100 hours or more to stay at the top of his profession. Dr. Isabella completed the Dawson Academy’s full curriculum to allow him to provide complete dental reconstructions. In 2013, he began lecturing to other dentists both locally and nationally on the placement and restoration of dental implants. He was inducted in the “40 under 40” top dentists in the nation in 2018 and has been included in MN Monthly magazine’s “Top Dentist” list multiple times. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and Academy of General Dentistry.
While in dental school, Dr. Isabella finished his first Ironman Triathlon. Since then he has completed three more including Hawaii, has two National Championship titles, is a four-time triathlon All-American, and has represented Team USA for the International Triathlon Union World Championships. Ultra running is his new passion, completing multipe 100-mile trail races including the Western States 100. And his greatest support is his wife, Jessica, and two sons Oliver and Weston.
Dr. Karl Petersen
Karl Petersen, DDS, had a unique path into dentistry. After graduating from the University of Minnesota with degrees in genetics and cell biology, he pursued molecular biological in a research setting for several years until he realized his passion for delivering patient care through dentistry. Dr. Petersen earned his dental degree from the University of Minnesota along with distinct honors for leadership, clinical excellence, and mentorship. In private practice, Dr. Petersen makes it a priority to stay at the forefront of dentistry and is passionate about minimally invasive, integrative, and holistic approaches to improve patient overall health in addition to their teeth. He also purses continuing education courses with leaders in the areas of orthodontics, sleep apnea, sedation, and implant dentistry. He is an active collaborator with several local dental and medical communities to determine how to most effectively screen and treat children and adults for sleep-disordered breathing. He is accredited with the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology; he is a fellow of the Great Lakes Implant Institute, and an active member of the International College of Oral Implantology, the Academy of General Dentistry, Spear Study Club, and the Minnesota Myofunctional Orthodontics Study Group. To serve his local community, Dr. Petersen regularly volunteers at Hope Dental Clinic and Give Kids a Smile. Dedicated to increasing access to those in need, he has also contributed to several safety net clinics in, and around the Twin Cities.
In his spare time, Dr. Petersen enjoys cooking, kayaking, social dancing, and outdoor adventures. During the summer, you may often find Dr. Petersen kayaking along the St. Croix.
